During the installation of the window, cement splatters, paint, adhesive from paper tape, and above all, stubborn silicone marks get onto the glass. 1. Common Stains on Glass and Their Technical Challenges
During installation, the following four types of stubborn stains get onto the glass, which cannot be cleaned with ordinary water:
- Silicone Marks: While operating a silicone gun during waterproofing, some silicone spreads onto the glass. After drying, it sticks like plastic.
- Paint and Cement Splatters: During wall preparation or plastering, drops of cement and paint fall onto the glass and harden.
- Protective Tape Adhesive: After peeling off the protective tape from aluminum profiles, a sticky layer of glue remains on the glass, which attracts dust.
- Construction Dust: Fine particles of cement and sand that settle and bond onto the glass surface.
2. Essential Professional Tools for Cleaning Glass
